All Batavia City School District buildings will be closed on Friday after threats were allegedly spread over social media. Batavia police are investigating the credibility of the threats, but buildings are closing out of an abundance of caution. A letter the district sent to parents says all after-school activities scheduled for Friday will also be canceled. The district is asking that anyone with information about the threats contact the Batavia Police Department at 585-345-6350 or the confidential tip line at 585-345-6370.
