John Gordon Will Be Arraigned Today on Two Counts of Second-Degree Murder

Rochester police have arrested a parolee for a shooting on September 19 that killed two people and wounded two others.

Twenty-seven-year-old John Gordon will be arraigned this morning on two counts of second-degree murder, plus assault and weapon charges.

Police say Gordon opened fire on a crowd outside a building on Driving Park where a party was going on inside.

The shots killed 35-year-old Jimmy Jones and 23-year-old Sharif Clark. A man and a woman were wounded.

According to police, Gordon was on parole for a gun crime in 2015 when he shot and killed a man.

He pleaded guilty to a manslaughter charge in 2017 and was paroled in May.
