Arkansas Woman is Facing an Arson Charge for Fire in a Rochester Apartment

An Arkansas woman is facing an arson charge for allegedly setting a fire in a Rochester apartment last month, while her daughter and grandchildren were inside.

Rochester Police say 47-year-old Glorestine Parks was visiting the family on October 10th when she started a fire without telling anyone and left.

All occupants of the apartment building on Lyell Ave, near Child Street, were able to get out safely, but the damage resulted in all 10-units being vacated.

Investigators tracked Parks to West Helena, Arkansas, and arrested her on October 29th.

She's being held in Rochester on $10,000 bail.
