Canandaigua Woman Hospitalized After She Was Struck By an Unlicensed Driver

A 75-year-old Canandaigua woman is hospitalized after deputies say she was struck by an unlicensed driver.

It happened yesterday on Routes 5 and 20 in Hopewell.

The Ontario County Sheriff's Office says Marjorie Henninger was struck as she walked back to her car from a farm stand.

She was flown to Strong Hospital.

The driver of the pickup that hit her, 34-year-old Joshua Modzel was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation.

The crash investigation closed the road for two hours.
