Voters across New York have rejected the three statewide ballot questions about political and election reform.
Voters defeated question 1, which would have reformed the redistricting process; question 3, which would have allowed voters to register on election day; and question 4, which would have allowed voting by absentee ballot without a reason.
Voters approved question 2, which adds a right to clean air and water to the state constitution.
And voters approved question 5, which allows more lawsuits in New York City to stay in the city courts.
