Gunman Barricaded Himself in Corner Store

A suspected parole absconder is in more trouble following a standoff in Rochester.

City police got word last night about a man with a gun near North Clinton Avenue and Kohlman Street.

The suspect, Tyquaan Lewis, was wanted for a parole violation. When officers approached, he ran inside a corner store.

Police persuaded him to come out, and officers recovered a gun, ammo, and drugs.

Lewis is on parole for weapon and attempted assault convictions.

He's also under investigation for shooting a gun in May.
