New York Republicans are looking to capitalize on opposition to the state's COVID vaccine mandate for health care workers.
State Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy appeared outside Strong hospital yesterday and criticized the mandate.
He said the mandate is "impractical, nonsensible, and it is crippling our state’s health care system.”
Workers who won't comply with the mandate are quitting or face termination.
Langworthy urged the governor to allow employees to regularly test for COVID instead.
