RTS has approved busing changes to allow more Rochester students to get to schools.
That means it'll serve 11 high schools for the next few months, instead of the 6 they normally serve.
Nearly 600 families within one-and-a-half miles of schools 10, 17, and 22 have been told their bus routes have been eliminated.
Some students will have to walk to school, get rides or start classes on remote.
The district is working to provide bicycles and helmets to students to get to school.
The school board meets again this evening at 5:30, where they're expected to approve the RTS changes.
A community meeting is planned for tomorrow.
