Rochester City School Board To Hold Emergency Meeting

The Rochester school board has called an emergency meeting today at 12:30 to discuss the bus driver shortage.

In a statement yesterday, the board called it a crisis.

The board says the district anticipated the driver shortage weeks ago and had worked out a revised bus schedule with contractors. But the contractors said this week they could not meet the committment.

Public attendance at today's meeting will be limited to 20 people, on a first come first serve basis.
