A pastor from Pittsford has been sentenced to six years sex offender probation for sexually abusing a child under 14-years-old.
Seventy-one-year-old Joseph Burress Sr. pleaded guilty in June.
He had been accused of separately abusing two children since 2014, but he pleaded guilty to a single count of second-degree sexual abuse.
Burress is the father of Paul Burress, who was sentenced in 2018 to probation following accusations of forcible touching of women.
Both the father and son had served as pastors at Victory Church in Henrietta.
