The Monroe County Heroin Task Force is reporting 70 overdoses in July, including ten that ended in death.
The numbers are roughly in line with the month before, when the county says there were 69 overdoses, including 15 that were fatal.
Victims ranged in age from 13 to 73, and the average age was 37. Fifty-one of the victims were men.
The sheriff's office says the opioid epidemic is far from over.
