Monroe County Reaches 70,000 COVID-19 Cases

Monroe County has now reached 70,000 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.

The Health Department confirmed 111 new cases today, with the 7-day average at 137.

106 people in the region are now hospitalized, with 32 in the ICU.

The 7-day positivity rate is down to 4.2%.

The county's total number of cases stands at 70,031.
