Construction Started On 250th Habitat for Humanity Home in Rochester

Flower City Habitat for Humanity and Excellus Blue Cross-Blue Shield have broken ground on the 250th Habitat for Humanity home in Rochester since 1984.

The house is going in at 375 Campbell Street and was made possible through a long-running partnership between Habitat and Excellus BCBS.

Every Habitat home is built by volunteers, including the family that will own and lives in it.

It gives low-income families a chance to develop stability and to begin building generational wealth.
