Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul thinks there will end up being a mask mandate for schools across New York State after she becomes governor later this month.
Hochul told NBC's Today Show she wants to talk to school officials about their concerns.
Right now, New York State is leaving it up to school districts to put in coronavirus-related protocols for the start of the school year.
Hochul also told the Today Show she expects on running for a full term once she finishes out Andrew Cuomo's term.
