Erie County Executive Continues Negotiations About Buffalo Bills Stadium

Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz says the Buffalo Bills won't have a blank check from taxpayers as the team negotiates the construction of a new stadium.

Last weekend, The Buffalo News reported that Bills ownership wants a new facility to be built next to the team's current stadium in Orchard Park.

They also reportedly want taxpayers to cover the entire cost of the project. Poloncarz says the Bills haven't threatened to move if an agreement can't be struck and that he's hopeful a compromise can be reached.

The team's current lease is set to expire in 2023.
