Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Rochester Airport

Authorities say it was a fuel leak that forced a United Express flight to make an emergency landing at the Rochester airport.

The plane was heading from Newark, New Jersey, to Buffalo when the pilot saw fuel leaking from the wing.

The plane is a Bombardier CRJ 700 jet.

The flight was carrying 55 passengers. No one was hurt. Passengers were shuttled by bus from the runway to the terminal building.
