Last night's doubleheader between the Rochester Red Wings and the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs was suspended in the bottom of the first inning when a player suffered a medical emergency.
Iron Pigs third baseman Daniel Brito suffered an apparent seizure and nearly fell before Red Wings manager Matt LeCroy and Iron Pigs Manager Gary Jones ran on the field and helped him to the ground. He was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery.
Today's game has been suspended as well. A decision on resuming play has not been made.
