Today's the day the rebuilding begins at the Thruway Service Areas.
The restaurant buildings at every other service area are shutting down and will be replaced or renovated for new restaurants and amenities. Once those sites reopen, the others will close.
All Thruway gas stations will remain open during the entire rebuilding project.
