A member of a Wayne County town board is facing charges for allegedly sexually abusing a child.
State Police arrested 39-year-old Cody Phillips and charged him with course of sexual conduct against a child, and endangering the welfare of a child.
He is accused of subjecting the child to multiple instances of sexual contact over the course of several years.
Phillips is the second member of the Walworth Town Board to be arrested on charges related to child sex abuse.
