Positive COVID-19 test rates locally, and across the state, are heading in the wrong direction.
The rolling 7-day average in the Rochester-Finger Lakes Region rose more than four-tenths of a percentage point between Thursday and Saturday, to 1.78 percent.
The statewide average rose nearly two-tenths during the same period.
There were nearly 2,000 new cases confirmed in the state on Saturday.
