Rochester police faced a challenge yesterday as they broke up a large fight on the west side.
Police say they were called to the area of Lexington Avenue and Thorn Street, and that a weapon may have been involved. Officers arrived to find a large and disruptive crowd, with multiple people interfering in their investigation. Multiple officers broke up the crowd.
Police say they can't release more information due to the nature of their investigation, but there was no active threat to the public.
