A member of the Walworth Town Board has been arrested on a charge of attempting to commit a criminal sex act.
Canandaigua Police say 57-year-old Karel Ambroz II of Walworth was arrested after he attempted to use social media to meet up with what he thought was a 140-year-old girl for sex. Instead, he was met by an undercover Canandaigua police detective who arrested him.
Ambroz has been released on an appearance ticket and ordered to appear in Canandaigua City Court on July 28th. Further charges against Ambroz are pending.
