A packaging company in Ogden has opened an addition to its existing plant on Manitou Road in Ogden.
ProAmpac's 25,000 square foot "Collaboration and Innovation Center" will focus on packaging development and design, and host companies that create or use packaging for events and training.
The company will hire up to 40 new employees.
Empire State Development is assisting ProAmpac with a $ 350,000 capital grant and up to $1 million in state tax credits. The company also is getting support from Monroe County, Greater Rochester Enterprise, and the New York Power Authority.
