Five children are recovering from minor injuries after a car hit a house on Rochester's north side.
It happened late yesterday afternoon when a car heading struck the house on Thomas Street and came to rest in the living room.
The children, ranging in age from 2 to 13, were sent to Strong. A 36-year-old woman in the home wasn't hurt.
The 47-year-old woman who was behind the wheel was charged with driving while impaired by drugs, and unlicensed operation. Her name has not been released.
The house sustained significant damage and the Red Cross is assisting the family.
