Strong Rain Storms Cause Power Outages In Parts of Monroe Co.

Strong storms that moved through Monroe County have caused some power outages and several reports of downed trees.

RG&E is reporting about three thousand customers are without power, the majority of which are in Rochester and Irondequoit.

The Town of Irondequoit reports several downed trees and limbs. The town says if limbs are in the road or blocking the sidewalk, residents are asked to call the department of public works at 336-6090, they say their crews are out and responding.
