Three people were shot and wounded early this morning on Dewey Avenue near Lexington Avenue. All three are being treated for their injuries at Strong Memorial Hospital and are expected to survive.
The victims are a 51-year-old city man, a 33-year-old city man and a 32-year-old city woman. All were shot in the lower body. There are no suspects in custody yet.
Rochester police are also investigating how a 22-year-old city man came to be shot late last night on Rauber Street. He was hit in the upper body and is recovering at Strong Memorial Hospital. Anyone with information on any of these crimes is asked to call 911.
