The Mayor's Office has launched the annual Cool Sweep program to provide some relief from the hot weather.
Durand Beach has extended swimming hours through 7 p.m.
City pools are not yet open for the season, but city R-Centers and libraries are open with air conditioning; and the city has spray parks and the Baden Park fire hydrant to help kids cool off.
The pools will open July 6.
