Current City Councilman Malik Evans is presumptively the next mayor of Rochester.
He soundly defeated incumbent Lovely Warren in last night's Democratic Primary.
Evans wasted no time laying out his agenda, highlighting making sure the streets are safe and intending to stop the bloodshed seen in the last 6 months.
There is no Republican candidate for mayor, and Warren herself did not secure any other ballot lines, so Evan is set to take over as mayor at the beginning of next year.
