COVID Case Numbers Across NYS Continue to Drop

New York's statewide testing positivity rate continues to fall, and has now hit a record low for 20-straight days.

The seven-day rolling average is .39 percent positive, a number which has now fallen for 73-straight days.

Under 600 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized statewide, and less than 150 are in the ICU.

Meanwhile, the Monroe County Health Department reports 24 new cases of the coronavirus since the last update...with the seven day rolling average of new cases now down to 23 a day.

The positivity rate remains at .7 percent.
