New York state is Hitting a Record Low COVID-19 Positivity Rate

New York state is hitting a record low COVID-19 positivity rate. Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the latest coronavirus numbers Sunday, and of the slightly more than 110-thousand test results reported Saturday, 383 came back positive. That's a rate of 0.35 percent and a record low for the 16th consecutive day. The state's positivity rate on a 7-day-rolling average dropped for the 69th consecutive day, to 0.44 percent. The governor says that Johns Hopkins University calls that number the lowest for any state in the nation.
