A young teenager was shot and killed and another shot and wounded on Genesee Street near Elmdorf Avenue yesterday afternoon. Rochester police say the two boys were walking down the sidewalk when shots were fired at them. One of the teens died after being brought to Strong Memorial Hospital, the other, 14 years old, survived. No arrest has been made but the Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
