The SurveyUSA poll conducted for News10NBC shows 48 percent of Democratic primary voters support Evans and 35 percent support Warren. 17 percent are undecided.
When asked to identify the single most important issue facing the city, 40 percent said crime, 20 percent said racial justice, 11 percent said the economy, 9 percent said public schools, and 9 percent said poverty.
A similar poll last month by Emerson College showed Evans ten points ahead of Warren with 12 percent undecided.
The primary is June 22.
