Family members say the man shot to death by Rochester police Friday night was 29-year-old Timothy Flowers.
Police say SWAT officers shot and killed a wanted man on Avenue D when they tried to arrest him and he fired first.
He allegedly was wanted for attempted murder and had been involved in four shootings in a 24-hour period.
There is no body camera video; SWAT officers don't usually wear the cameras.
