Police have confirmed that that human remains found earlier this week in Durand Lake are those of Lisa Shuler, the Irondequoit woman found dismembered last week at her home on Culver Road near Sea Breeze.
The remains were positively identified by the Monroe County Medical Examiner....after police divers worked through the day in the murky lake water yesterday to make sure there was nothing more to find.
This afternoon, Irondequoit police said the cases were defnitely related. Remains of Lisa Shuler were found outside the home she shared with boyfriend Seth Larson. Larson is wanted as a person of interest. He was known to be in Maryland last week. He got a traffic ticket there, before he was a person of interest in Shuler's death.
