Health officials in Monroe County say new COVID case numbers are continuing in the right direction.
The health department reported 93 new confirmed cases of the virus and no new deaths, marking the fourth straight day of new case numbers below 100.
Health Commissioner Dr. Michael Mendoza says this shows the vaccine is working.
Mendoza says it is important to get vaccinated as soon as possible, and to continue to wear a mask, especially indoors, if you are not vaccinated or not eligible to get vaccinated.
