The Brighton School District Continues Hybrid Classes for Grades 6-12

The Brighton school district has reversed course, and will not return today to full-time in-school classes for grades 6 through 12.

Superintendent Kevin McGowan told parents in a letter the COVID case numbers in Monroe County are still too high for a full reopening.

Students in grades 6 through 12 will continue with hybrid classes for the rest of the semester.

The district still hopes to open full-time in September.
