Monroe Co. Launching Grant Program to Help Struggling Arts Organizations

Monroe County is launching a grant program to help struggling small- and mid-sized arts organizations.

County Executive Adam Bello says the program will use money from last year's federal stimulus bill.

Bello says smaller arts organizations count on ticket revenue for their budgets, and they were hurt when COVID prevented them from performing during the past year.

The County says the funds can only be used to cover expenses incurred between March 20, 2020 and June 18, 2021 because of COVID-19.
