A man accused of raping a woman in Rochester in the fall of 2019, will spending the next 20 years behind bars.
The Monroe County DA’s office says Delrick Jeffries was sentenced today after being convicted of rape, assault and unlawful imprisonment.
Prosecutors say Jeffries held a woman against her will, assaulted and forcibly raped her in October of 2019.
The victim was able to go to a grocery store to get help after the attack.
