There are four new members of the World Video Game Hall of Fame at the Strong Museum of Play.
This year's inductees are Animal Crossing, Microsoft Flight Simulator, StarCraft and Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?
The criteria for selection include the games' iconic status, longevity, international reach and influence on the development of other games or entertainment.
This year's inductees were chosen from a field of 12 finalists. Some of the finalists who missed out on induction include Call of Duty, Guitar Hero and Pole Position.
