The Hilton Central School District will be sued over alleged sexual abuse by one of its former elementary school principals.
A Hilton family has filed a notice of claim aganst the district, Superintendent Dr. Casey Kosiorek, and former Northwood Elementary School principal Kirk Ashton.
Ashton is facing a number of felony charges, as he's accused of sexually abusing at least 11 students.
The claim alleges Ashton abused a boy on about 20 occassions beginning in 2017, when the boy was in second grade, and continuing through this past February.
So far, the district is refusing comment.
