Monroe County's COVID-19 Numbers are Improving

Monroe County's COVID-19 numbers are looking a little better.

The positive test rate on Saturday was down to 2.7 percent, and the average for the last seven days is down to 2.9.

The number of new cases on Saturday was 232, slightly above the average for the last seven days.

62 percent of the new cases are in people under 40.

Nearly 48 percent of county residents have received at least one dose of the vaccines.
