Monroe County Executive Adam Bello is announcing new measures that are being implemented to improve staffing outcomes, retention, and recruitment at Monroe Community Hospital.
Bello says the coronavirus pandemic exacerbated a system-wide staffing shortage that he says has to be addressed.
He says a career pipeline has been created to incentivize workers to grow at MCH.
Bello says one of those incentives includes a series of salary upgrades for staff at MCH for all medical professionals.
Bello also announced a new partnership with Monroe Community College to provide advanced training and education to accelerate job growth within the hospital's nursing staff.
