New Poll Shows Governor Cuomo's Favorability Rating Continues to Drop

Governor Cuomo’s favorability rating continues to drop but voters still say he shouldn’t resign.

His favorability rating in the Siena College poll is now the lowest it has ever been, with more than 50 percent of voters viewing Cuomo unfavorably for the very first time.

Still, a majority of voters - including Democrats by two-to-one and a plurality of independents - continue to say that Cuomo should not resign and that he can still effectively do his job as governor.

Democrats continue to give Cuomo strong grades on his handling of the pandemic but join Republicans and independents in giving Cuomo negative grades for his handling of nursing home patient death data.
