RCSD: In-Person Learning, Five Days a Week Offered for Upcoming School Year

The Rochester City School District says schools will have in-person learning, five days a week, when the new school year starts September 8.

The district also is offering a 100 percent remote learning option.

Families preferring the remote option must inform the district by May 7, and must stick with remote learning for the entire first semester.

The district will have three-foot social distancing in the classrooms when the school year begins, unless the state lifts all restrictions by then.

The district also has plans for six-foot distancing, if it becomes necessary.
