The trial for a Fairport man who is charged in the stabbing death of his ex-girlfriend is underway.
Sixty-eight-year-old William Fricke is charged with kidnapping and first-degree murder in the death of Julianne Baker.
She was killed in January 2020 at the Canandaigua home of Rochester resident Dennis Gruttadaro -- who was injured in the attack.
Fricke drove into a ditch during the getaway and was arrested hours later in Irondequoit.
