Irondequoit police say five people were hurt in a three-vehicle crash.
It happened around 8:30 this morning at the intersection of North Goodman Street and East Ridge Road.
One car ended up on its side between the two other vehicles, and people were reported trapped.
Four adults and an eight-year-old were sent to the hospital. Some of the injuries were serious, but all five people are expected to survive.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
