New York State to Provide Vaccine Access to All Incarcerated People

A judge in New York City has ruled the state must immediately provide vaccine access to all incarcerated people -- not just those over 65.

The judge ruled the prison and jail populations were arbitrarily excluded from the vaccine rollout.

A lawyer for the governor says the state will comply.

The ruling is a win for prison reform activists who claimed inmates died waiting for access to the vaccine.
