Three Dogs Die in Rochester House Fire

Rochester police say a kitchen fire at a home on Rochester's east side spread upstairs and killed three of the residents' four dogs.

The fire was called in around 8:30 last night on Cedarwood Terrace.

Police say the two adults living there were out to dinner at the time. The Red Cross is helping them with emergency housing.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
