Rochester police don't expect to file criminal charges after a driver struck a boy on the city's southwest side.
It happened just after 9 last night when police say the 12-year-old was struck as he ran across Genesee Street.
The driver stayed at the scene, and the boy was being treated last night at the hospital. He is expected to survive.
