NYS Lawmakers and Governor Reportedly Have Deal on Recreational Marijuana

According to reports from "Bloomberg" and "The Wall Street Journal," New York State lawmakers and Governor Cuomo have come to an agreement regarding the legalization of recreational marijuana in the state.

Earlier today, the governor said legal marijuana is inevitable for New York.

The deal would legalize the use of marijuana for adults 21 and older.

The Wall Street Journal reports the deal would let New Yorkers buy and possess up-to-three-ounces and grow plants for personal use. The bill will be likely introduced tonight and then lawmakers could vote on it as soon as next week.
